About Hoora Games :
Hoora Games is a mobile gaming platform featuring 150+ instant-play hyper-casual games, available on iOS and Android.
Our product is built around fast, scroll-based gameplay sessions (1–3 minutes), with strong technical constraints on performance, UX clarity, and scalability.
We regularly integrate new games into our ecosystem and are looking for experienced freelance Phaser developers for long-term collaboration.
Role Overview :
We are looking for freelance Phaser 3 developers to adapt and integrate existing game templates into the Hoora app.
This is not full game creation from scratch.
The core app logic, API, and integration system are already implemented.
Your mission is to make games fully compatible with Hoora's game loop, events system, and quality standards.
Types of Games You'll Work On:
You'll integrate hyper-casual games falling into one of these categories:
- Score games (endless, score-based)
- Level games (fixed or looping levels)
- Level score games (levels + score per level)
Typical session length: 1–3 minutes (max ~8 minutes).
Target audience: competitive hyper-casual players.
Each integration usually includes:
Game Loop & App Communication :
- Implementing event-based communication (Ready, LoadLevel, Restart)
- Handling LevelFail and LevelScoreSuccess (with score)
- Adapting the game flow to:
- Instant start
- No in-game menus
- No in-game game-over / win screens (handled by the app)
UI / UX Cleanup :
- Removing unnecessary UI elements (shops, settings, native game-over screens, etc.)
- Keeping only required UI elements (score, level, progress, tutorial, IAP buttons)
- Respecting mobile UX constraints and safe zones
Audio, Vibration & Feedback :
- Handling SoundOn / SoundOff events
- Ensuring audio starts muted by default
- Triggering vibration only via app events
IAP & Currency Integration :
- Integrating Hoora IAP flow (AskBuy / OnBuy / OnCancelBuy)
- Adapting revive or bonus systems to Hoora Coins
- Implementing CollectCoin events when required
Performance & Optimization :
- Cleaning unused assets
- Optimizing for HTML5 / mobile performance
- Respecting file size constraints (target 10–25 MB, max 60 MB)
- Prioritizing performance over visual complexity
Tutorials & Onboarding :
- Implementing short, clear tutorials:
- Text instructions ("Tap to jump", etc.)
- Visual hand indicators
- Merging tutorial flow smoothly into gameplay when needed
Testing & Delivery, fefore delivery, you'll be expected to:
- Test the game in a mobile browser environment
- Simulate app events via postMessage
- Validate restart, level loading, score, and fail/success flows
- Record a short gameplay preview rush (used for in-app previews)
You'll also document:
- Game type, levels, loop logic
- Average session duration / score
- Integrated IAPs
- Observations and potential improvements

Profile We're Looking For :
- Strong experience with Phaser 3
- Comfortable with event-driven logic and JavaScript communication
- Used to cleaning, optimizing, and adapting existing game projects
- Solid mobile performance awareness
- Autonomous, detail-oriented, and reliable
This role is not suited for junior profiles discovering Phaser
