About Us
Dreamers Collective Media Inc. is a video production and digital marketing agency based in Ontario, Canada. We produce high-performance short-form content for contractors, automotive dealerships, restaurants, and more — content that lives on Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, and is built to perform.
The Role
We're looking for a talented freelance video editor to work with us on a per-video basis. You'll be editing short-form content almost exclusively — most videos are under 30 seconds, with nothing exceeding 60 seconds. You'll receive footage shot on the Sony FX3 and deliver clean, polished, platform-ready edits that stop the scroll.
What We Need
Proficient in DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro — these are our primary editing softwares
Strong color grading skills — you know how to make footage look cinematic and consistent
Experience with Sony FX3 footage, or the ability to get up to speed quickly
A solid feel for short-form pacing, cuts, and what works on Reels, TikTok, and Shorts
Reliable turnaround times and clear communication
A portfolio or reel showing relevant short-form work — no portfolio, no consideration
Nice to Have
Experience editing paid ad content (Meta, TikTok Ads)
Motion graphics or text animation in DaVinci Resolve/Adobe After Effects
Prior work with a creative or marketing agency
Compensation
Fixed rate per video. Rate discussed based on experience and scope.
