This supports architectural visualisation, AI-generated 3D asset processing, and broader procedural generation work.
What you'll build:
Automated retopology / quad remesh pipelines that take raw or AI-generated meshes and output clean, usable geometry
Procedural generation systems using Geometry Nodes and/or Blender Python scripting
Reusable rigging and animation setups that can be applied programmatically across different models without manual adjustment
Blender Python scripts for batch processing, headless execution, and pipeline integration
Integration points with external renderers (D5 Render, Unreal Engine) and file formats (glTF, USD, FBX)
You must have:
Strong Blender Python API (bpy) skills — you write code that does what artists do by hand
Retopology experience — quad remesh, mesh cleanup, topology optimisation for both real-time and rendering use cases
Procedural generation with Geometry Nodes and/or scripted approaches
Rigging and animation fundamentals — enough to automate, not just pose manually
Experience running Blender headless / via command line for batch and pipeline operations
Nice to have:
Experience processing AI-generated 3D assets (Meshy, Tripo, Hunyuan3D, Trellis — the outputs are messy and need automated cleanup)
Familiarity with architectural visualisation pipelines
Add-on development experience (building reusable Blender tools, not just scripts)
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
