I'm launching a new YouTube documentary channel focused on dark history, disturbing historical events, and psychological historical storytelling.
I'm looking for a talented scriptwriter who understands YouTube storytelling and audience retention — not academic writing.
IMPORTANT:
This first job is a PAID TEST (400–500 words) to evaluate storytelling ability. If the collaboration goes well, this can become a long-term position with consistent weekly work.
What I need:
- Engaging storytelling style (not robotic or encyclopedic)
- Strong hooks and curiosity-driven narration
- Natural pacing suitable for documentary-style videos
- Clear, emotionally engaging English
- Ability to simplify complex historical topics while keeping tension
Style references (for tone and pacing):
Channels similar to dark history / documentary narration formats.
For this test:
- Write a short script excerpt (400–500 words)
- Topic will be provided after hiring
