This is a mid-scope indie PC project with a target development timeline of 3–4 months.

Core Requirements
We are specifically looking for someone with:
• Strong experience in Unity / Unity 6 preferred)
• Proven experience building multiplayer co-op games
• Experience shipping at least one PC game (Steam preferred)
Solid understanding of:
• Network architecture (Host/Client or Dedicated Server)
• Multiplayer synchronization & RPC logic
• Lag compensation & prediction basics
• Player authority & object ownership systems

Multiplayer & Technical Requirements
The game will require:
• 2–4 player online co-op
• Proximity voice chat (very important)
• Steam integration (Steamworks API):
• Steam lobbies
• Invites
• Friends joining
• Stable matchmaking flow
• Basic lobby system
• Networked physics interactions
• Networked animations & player states
• Clean, scalable multiplayer architecture
Experience with the following is a strong plus:
• Netcode for GameObjects, Mirror, Photon Fusion, FishNet, or similar
• Steam P2P networking
• Spatial voice solutions (Vivox, Dissonance, Steam Voice, etc.)
• Optimization for PC builds
• Experience building social or party-based co-op games
