À propos

I'm looking for an experienced video editor to help turn 2 hours of multi-camera studio footage into 4-5 polished YouTube videos minutes each).
We shot in a professional studio with:
• 3 camera angles (host, guest, two-shot)
• Separate audio tracks for each microphone
• ~120 GB of footage hosted on OneDrive
This is our first batch. If the collaboration goes well, we'll have regular content to edit going forward.

TWO-PHASE EDITING APPROACH
PHASE 1: Assembly Cuts (Rough Edits)
Before investing time in full polish, I need to see rough synced versions so I can decide what to keep and cut.
Requirements:
• Sync all 3 cameras with audio
• Simple cuts (whoever's speaking is on screen)
• No graphics, music, or color grading yet
• Clearly labeled files (e.g., Topic1_ROUGH_v1.mp4)
I'll review these, provide timestamps for what to keep/cut, and send detailed notes.
PHASE 2: Full Edits
Once we agree on the cuts, you'll deliver fully polished videos with:
• Slides/graphics inserted at marked timestamps (some already in footage, some I'll provide separately)
• B-roll to break up talking-head segments
• Intro animation (~5-8 seconds)
• Outro with subscribe CTA
• Lower thirds for speakers
• Visible logo throughout
• Light color grading so all 3 cameras match
• Mid-roll and end-roll CTA clips (I'll film these separately; you'll insert at marked moments)
Note: Subtitles not needed — we'll rely on YouTube's auto-generation.

REFERENCE STYLES
I've studied what works on YouTube and have specific references I'd like to draw from:
My First Million – Main reference for structure:
• Intro clips from episode + animations (~35 sec)
• Visible branding throughout
• Good B-roll transitions (3-5 sec)
• Mid-roll "organic ads" for lead magnets
Matt Gray – Strong hooks, clean graphics and color grading
Simon Squibb – Clear episode structure that sets expectations upfront
Greg Isenberg – Excellent intro formula (first 2 minutes are worth studying)

KEY QUESTIONS FOR YOU
Duration & Style: From 2 hours of footage, we're creating 4-5 videos of roughly 10-25 minutes each. Mostly talking-head style with added graphics, slides, and B-roll. Does this format fit your experience?
B-Roll: Are you able to source/create B-roll and simple motion graphics as part of the edit, or should I plan to hire someone separately for that?
Pricing: What's your rate structure for this type of project? Per-video basis makes most sense to me. We can start with the shortest video (~10 min) as a test.
References: Can you share examples of similar multi-camera edits you've done with intro animations, B-roll, and mid-roll CTAs?

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR
• Experience with multi-camera syncing and audio cleanup
• Comfortable with YouTube-style pacing and engagement elements
• Ability to match reference styles while maintaining creative input
• Clear communication and organized file management
• Willingness to work in phases (rough cuts first, then polish)

NEXT STEPS
If this sounds like a good fit, please share:
• Examples of similar work
• Your estimated timeline for Phase 1 assembly cuts
• Your rate structure (per video or project-based)
• Confirmation you can handle ~120 GB file transfers via OneDrive (or alternative preference)
Looking forward to collaborating with the right editor
