The core of this project is integration with AppFolio. We are moving away from simple iFrame embeds and looking for a developer who can leverage the AppFolio Stack API to create a seamless, SEO-friendly user experience.
Scope of Work:
1. Custom Website Development: Build a modern, mobile-responsive site (WordPress, Webflow, or Headless) that reflects our brand.
2. AppFolio Integration: Synchronize real-time vacancy listings, unit details, and pricing via the AppFolio API.
3. Dynamic Listings: Create a searchable property directory with advanced filters (neighborhood, price, pet-friendly, etc.) and Mapbox/Google Maps integration.
4. Conversion Optimization: Integrated "Apply Now" buttons that link directly to AppFolio applications and a resident portal login that doesn't feel like leaving our site.
5. Lead Generation: Integration of owner-lead forms and tenant inquiry flows that sync with our CRM/AppFolio guest cards.
Technical Requirements:
1. Proven experience with AppFolio Stack Premium or third-party middleware (e.g., RentPress, Skywalk, or custom-built JSON handlers).
2. Strong understanding of SEO for Property Management (schema markup for listings is a must).
3. Experience with REST APIs and handling real-time data synchronization.
4. Ability to build a "Unit-Level" search experience rather than just a "Property-Level" one.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months.
