This role is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable following very clear instructions rather than making creative decisions independently.
What you'll help with:
• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok by following step-by-step editing instructions (clips, text placement, timing, captions, etc.)
• Assist with engagement (liking/commenting on posts based on my instructions)
• Be available to engage right before scheduled posting times and periodically during the day when my audience is active
• Occasionally help with other small tasks if they fit your area of expertise
Important:
I run multiple accounts and post frequently, so consistency and reliability matter more than advanced creative skills.
Because engagement timing matters, applicants should have some availability during daytime/evening hours in the Eastern Time Zone.
Videos should be completed with enough time for review before posting — please do not plan to send finished reels only minutes before the scheduled posting time.
I'm looking for someone dependable who communicates clearly and can follow through on agreed posting schedules. If something unexpected comes up, I just ask for quick communication so we can adjust — reliability and responsiveness are very important for this role.
Volume:
Approx. 4-6 videos per week (may increase/decrease)
Ideal candidate:
• Experience editing short-form social media videos
• Strong ability to follow written instructions exactly
• Responsive and dependable
• Friendly, professional communication
Nice to have (not required):
• Experience working with small businesses or handmade brands
• Basic understanding of Instagram/TikTok formatting
