Job Overview

Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws is a key responsibility.

• To identify people who may be breaking customs laws or regulations at the border, I need to ask them questions.
• I'm required to prevent people from entering the country illegally by stopping vehicles, conducting farm checks, building inspections, traffic stops, city patrols and transportation checks. I also have to stop undocumented non-citizens from entering the country with smugglers' help near borders.I am part of an important task that deals with keeping our borders safe through various means such as Farm Checks,Building Check,Traffic check,City Patrols etc.
