Border Patrol Career

A Border Patrol Agent has various responsibilities including detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations. Their primary goal is to maintain national security by preventing unlawful entry into the country.

1. Preventing smuggling operations, investigating suspicious activity, and identifying potential threats.
2. Detecting false documentation used for illegal border crossings.

• Educational background with a high school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in law enforcement, homeland security, criminal justice, or related field preferred
• Possession of valid driver's license (not applicable for candidates who are medical veterans)
