Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Border Protection Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play an integral part in protecting America’s borders while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
Key responsibilities include enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws; conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances; determining admissibility for entry into the United States; preventing illegal entry and smuggling activities; as well as other duties related to border protection.
