The Data Analyst works under the Manager - Data Analytics to review and validate laboratory data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and regulatory standards. They are responsible for analyzing data from various tests, identifying trends or anomalies, and coordinating with laboratory teams to address discrepancies. Using in-house data review software, they assist in determining when retesting is required and ensure data is properly documented and ready for client reports. As a mid-level analyst, they also support the implementation of data optimization processes and collaborate on projects to improve data integrity and workflow efficiency. Responsibilities

Review any completed samples first before refreshing the work list to check for new data. Check results against historical data if available to ensure data fall within expected ranges. Identify any failed tests and take appropriate actions, including notifying Client Services and analytical teams to determine if retests are necessary. Sign off on COA after completing review. 3. Data Management & Reporting Create and edit tables with relevant data for Client Services to share with clients. Report any critical data issues (fails, missing tests, off-target results) and tag the appropriate teams for follow-up. Mark any failed Metric uploads in Coda and communicate those fails to Client Services. Create tables for retest samples that include data from multiple reruns upon Client Services request. Continuously monitor Slack for real-time sample updates and any new instructions. 4. Support & Troubleshooting Assist in troubleshooting any issues related to the LIMS system by collaborating with the Client Services team, Software team, and lab personnel.
