This position reports directly to Inovata Foods' President and will have a high level of collaboration with Quality Assurance, Production, Engineering and Purchasing.
Inovata Foods looking for a HR Coordinator to partner with us as we bring families and friends together through offering wholesome and convenient meals. The role is located in our Tillsonburg, Ontario facility. Inovata Foods Corp. is a major producer of wholesome control brand frozen meals for many of North America's largest retailers.
Position Details:
- Vacancy Type: Existing Vacancy
- Pay Range:
$55,000 - $65,000 - This position is being posted both internally and externally. Inovata Foods is committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members, and qualified internal candidates will be given priority consideration
Primary Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Employee Support
- Coordinate and support new hire orientation and onboarding documentation.
- Prepare employee files and onboarding materials.
- Assist with probationary review reminders and documentation tracking.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, communications, and events.
HR Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate HRIS records and confidential employee files.
- Support payroll preparation tasks (daily time tracking, data entry, approvals).
- Assist with attendance tracking, reporting, and wellness initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment standards.
- Prepare HR reports and documentation as requested.
Recruitment & Workforce Support
- Support the recruitment process for hourly roles, including posting jobs and screening applications.
- Schedule interviews and assist with candidate communication.
- Prepare various letters including employee verification and offer letters
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements.
- Maintain recruitment tracking tools and applicant records.

Requirements:
- Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- CHRP/CHRL designation (or working toward) is considered an asset.
- 1–3 years of experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Working Conditions:

Position may require varying start times and extended working hours with occasional weekends to facilitate customer presentations and attendance and production trials and first runs.
