Role Description
We are hiring a high-energy, competitive Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate and qualify new funding opportunities. This role is responsible for outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and appointment setting. You will be the first point of contact for business owners seeking capital and will qualify opportunities before handing them off to Account Executives (closers).
This is not a passive role. It requires daily outreach, resilience, and consistency.

Responsibilities
Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and SMS
Respond quickly to inbound leads from marketing campaigns
Qualify merchants based on revenue, time in business, and funding needs
Set qualified appointments for Account Executives (AEs)
Maintain accurate CRM records (Salesforce)
Follow up persistently with warm and cold prospects
Track daily KPIs (calls, talk time, appointments set, conversions)
Build and manage your own pipeline
Collaborate with closers to ensure smooth handoffs
Continuously improve scripts and outreach messaging
Qualifications
Proficiency in Inside Sales and Lead Generation
Strong Communication skills and experience in building and maintaining professional client relationships
High energy and resilient mindset
Experience in financial services, MCA, or business lending is a plus
Proven expertise in Sales and Business Development
Ability to work independently in a remote environment with self-motivation
Analytical mindset and ability to leverage technology for lead sourcing and tracking
Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce) and sales automation software is advantageous
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred
