Role Overview
High Complexity Tasks (deeper Marketo knowledge + SFDC understanding, or more training required):
• Set up flows to sync/change status in SFDC Campaign (understanding campaign member statuses, sync protocols)
• Set up basic fix/change flows to update other data values or statuses in Marketo (data management workflows)
• Build and modify smart campaigns for lead lifecycle progression
• Create and modify program templates for repeatable campaigns
• Configure and test advanced smart list logic using nested filters and triggers
Medium Complexity Tasks (more Marketo familiarity + attention to detail):
• Remove forms/update landing pages to indicate registration is closed
• List imports with data validation
• Build LinkedIn Lead Gen flows using established templates
• Perform monthly/quarterly Marketo health reporting (database growth, email deliverability metrics, engagement trends)
• Pull smart lists to get campaign estimates and audience sizing
• Set up and manage nurture campaign streams (adding/removing content, managing cadences)
• Create and maintain smart campaign alert notifications for sales
• Build and test progressive profiling forms
• Clone and customize existing programs for new campaigns
• Manage webinar/event program setup and post-event processing through our vendor Goldcast
• Conduct basic data hygiene tasks (removing hard bounces, updating email invalid status)
Low Complexity Tasks (minimal Marketo experience needed with proper training):
• Pull basic email performance reports (open rates, click rates, conversions)
• Build Marketo emails and landing pages using approved templates
• Schedule email sends after campaign review/approval
• Update tokens in existing programs (event dates, speaker names, registration links)
• QA email renders and link functionality across devices
• Update and deactivate expired smart campaigns
• Archive completed programs per retention guidelines

Mandatory skills: Building Smart Campaigsn, Managing Marketo-SFDC campaign, Manage & Lead lifecycle progression in Marketo, Data Management workflows, Conduct Marketo health checks, Running end-to-end webinar/event programs, Troubleshoot sync issues between Marketo & Salesforce, Maintain Data Hygiene, QA & risk prevention
Optional skills: Familiarity with Marketo APIs or integrations, Experience with Salesforce Reports & Dashboards, Ability to diagnose sync failures beyond campaign statuses, Experience with marketing performance reporting, Experience working in agile/fast-paced marketing environments
