ABOUT THE ROLE
We're launching a direct-to-consumer supplement brand, and need a skilled video editor to create high-converting Facebook/Instagram ads.
This is NOT a one-off project. We're looking for someone who wants consistent, long-term work as our dedicated video editor.
WHAT YOU'LL BE EDITING
- Native ads second storytelling videos with AI voiceover)
- UGC-style content (authentic, testimonial-driven ads)
- Product explainer videos
- Retargeting ads and short-form content
Think: Storytelling over flashy effects. Authentic over polished. Conversion-focused over "creative for creative's sake."
Style references: Native ads from brands like AG1, Seed, Athletic Greens - clean, educational, direct-response focused.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
✓ Edit 5-10 videos per week (initially, will scale as we grow)
✓ Quick turnaround (less than 24 hours per video)
✓ Clean, professional editing (color grading, sound mixing, captions, b-roll integration)
✓ Ability to follow brand guidelines while bringing creative ideas
✓ Experience with direct-response/performance marketing ads (NOT just "pretty" edits)
WHAT WE'LL PROVIDE

✓ Clear brand guidelines
✓ Feedback on each video
✓ Consistent work schedule
COMPENSATION
START: Paid test project (2 videos)
THEN: Monthly retainer of $1,000 AUD for 20-40 videos/month (negotiable based on quality & speed + will be increased as we grow.)
This is a full-time position. If you pass the test, you'll become our dedicated editor with consistent monthly income + bonuses everytime you make a winning ad.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- 1+ years of video editing experience (portfolio required)
- Experience editing ads for Facebook/Instagram (performance marketing background is a huge plus)
- Proficient in an editing software
- Understands direct-response copywriting and how editing supports the message
- Can work independently with minimal hand-holding
- Fast but detail-oriented
- Available for ongoing work (THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION)
NOT A FIT IF YOU:
- Only want one-off projects
- Focus on "cinematic" or overly artistic edits (we need conversion-focused content)
- Can't meet 24-48 hour turnarounds consistently
- Don't have experience with ad content
HOW TO APPLY
1. Submit your portfolio (MUST include examples of ads, UGC content, or direct-response videos)
2. Answer these questions:
• Have you edited performance marketing ads before? (Facebook/Instagram/TikTok)
• What's your average turnaround time for a 60-90 second ad?
• Are you available for full-time work with one client, or do you prefer project-based work?
• What's your preferred monthly retainer rate for 20-40 videos/month?
3. If your work looks like a fit, we'll send you a paid test brief
START DATE
Immediate. We'll review applications this week and send test projects to finalists within 3-5 days.
IMPORTANT
This is a long-term position. We're not looking for someone to edit 5 videos and disappear. We want a dedicated editor who grows with the brand as we scale.
