We are currently looking for a Construction Cost Estimator who understands how construction really works and wants to be part of a stable, professional team where their work directly impacts successful projects.

What You'll Be Responsible For
Reviewing architectural drawings, plans, and specifications to fully understand project scope
Preparing accurate, realistic cost estimates for garages and garden suites
Creating detailed breakdowns for labor, materials, and subcontractors
Requesting, reviewing, and comparing supplier and subcontractor quotes
Updating estimates as designs, materials, or scope evolve
Maintaining clean, organized estimate files and revision history
Working closely with Project Managers and Sales to ensure pricing aligns with timelines and client expectations
Supporting basic cost tracking and reporting during the project lifecycle
What We're Looking For
1+ year of experience in residential construction estimating
Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and workflows
Ability to work confidently with drawings, numbers, and project details
High attention to detail — you care about accuracy and clarity
Organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple estimates
Basic computer skills; experience with estimating or project tools (Asana or similar) is an asset
Strong Assets (Nice to Have)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Familiarity with Alberta building codes or permitting processes
Experience with garages, garden suites, or residential renovation projects
