You understand that effective HR goes beyond processes — it's about influencing leadership, strengthening teams, and shaping a culture that drives sustainable success. You see how HR connects to the organization's strategic goals and are motivated to contribute at that level.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a respected professional services firm. You will partner closely with client groups to understand their unique needs, providing coaching, navigating employee relations, and strengthening team dynamics. By leveraging data and insights, you anticipate challenges and recommend proactive solutions that help managers and teams perform at their best. Your holistic approach ensures policies, programs, and interventions work together to build leadership capability, foster engagement, and deliver sustainable results.
Your Role
Serve as trusted advisor to assigned client groups, providing coaching and guidance on all HR matters, bridging operational excellence with strategic impact.
Understand client needs, identify solutions and propose recommendations that add value to stakeholders and the organization.

Lead assigned full cycle HR projects from scope definition through execution, stakeholder communication, and post-project evaluation.
Prepare professional communication on a variety of HR topics, understanding the audience, communication channels and approach.
As part of the HR team, review and suggest enhancements to Binnie's HR programs and policies which promote and sustain our reputation as a top employer.
Lead all employee activities for assigned client groups related to employee relations, leave administration, accommodation, and immigration, providing sound guidance to both managers and employees.
What You Bring
Significant HR expertise, with a minimum of 5 years of senior generalist experience, acting as a trusted advisor for managers and employees.
Demonstrated practical knowledge of core employment laws and regulations in British Columbia and/or Alberta.
Demonstrated ability to influence and coach managers at varying levels, delivering guidance that builds capability and drives business outcomes.
Degree focused in Human Resources Management, or relevant HR certification such as CPHR or SHRM-CP.
High degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and critical thinking, with proven ability to build strong working relationships across disciplines and levels.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and take decisive action to address challenges and support business objectives.
Comfortable and resourceful in a high-volume, fast-paced, and evolving work environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on results.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and provide guidance that managers can act on confidently.
Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively, deliver high-quality results, and maintain attention to detail across multiple initiatives.
