NON-UNIONIZED POSITION
Permanent Full-Time – 40 Hours per Week

Description Of Work
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the planning, organizing, directing, and analyzing the operations of the human resources function of the Town of Conception Bay South. Key areas of responsibility include assisting with policy and procedure development; human resource planning, labour relations; performance management, training and development; disability management; and recruitment and selection.
Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration or commerce with specialization in human resource management;
Minimum of three (3) years in a Human Resource Management role;
Experience in a unionized and/or municipal environment;
Experience in developing, coordinating, designing and delivering a variety of human resources policies, procedures and programs.
Experience providing strategic human resources advice and in problem solving and conflict resolution;
Any combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as the ability to support and coach staff in the areas of human resources;
Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and address matters with discretion and confidentiality are required.
