I am looking to automate the following:
Automatically detect and count weeks with actual burn (0 hours)
Calculate rolling and/or trend-based weekly burn rates
Use Excel's forecasting functions (e.g., FORECAST.LINEAR or similar) to project remaining effort
Generate a dynamic Forecast to Complete (FTC) and Estimate at Completion (EAC)
Prevent calculation errors when insufficient data exists (no #DIV/0 issues)
Ensure the model ignores blanks and text placeholders (e.g., "-")
Provide a clean, scalable structure that rolls up to a total project summary
include executive-level dashboard indicators (variance vs. budget, burn trend, forecast delta)
The goal is to create a dynamic, automated forecasting model that updates weekly and provides defensible projections for executive reporting (PHR-level visibility).
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 10 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic for Applications, JavaScript, Python
