Job Summary:
Reporting to the CFO and Director of Accounting, the General Accountant will manage payroll, commissions, and daily financial transactions while supporting audits and accounts receivable.
About The Role:
- Collect and verify timesheet and other payroll data.
- Calculate and process wages, overtime, and commissions.
- Prepare sales reps commission reports monthly
- Manage employees' credit card accounts. Collect receipts from employees for the CC transactions.
- Post the employees credit card transactions as journal vouchers in SAP
- Post the USA customers wire payments and manage Wayfair account.
- Check the daily bank transactions and finish monthly bank reconciliation.
- Close the day-end and send email.
- Assist AR on the payments posting when accounting clerk is off
- Assist external auditing.
- Any other duties as needed.
Let's Talk About You:
- Minimum 3-5 years of Finance and Accounting experience
- 1-2 years payroll experience
- Diploma in Accounting/Bookkeeping or equivalent is preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred
- Knowledge of financial principles and accounting terminology
- Methodical working style
- Ability to multitask & prioritize while working independently
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated track record of meeting deadlines
