We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our facility in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will be at the heart of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled and prepared for shipment. Your responsibilities will include locating items within the warehouse, carefully picking them, and then securely packing them for transit. This position demands accuracy, speed, and a strong commitment to **safety**. You will work with a variety of products, using tools such as order scanners and packing supplies. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to a positive team environment. The role involves significant physical activity, including **Lifting** of merchandise. All necessary **PPE** will be provided, and adherence to **logistics** and **safety** protocols is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate shipping materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for shipment.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all **safety** guidelines and **PPE** requirements.
- Participate in inventory checks and stock rotation.
- Perform **Lifting** tasks as required, up to 50 lbs.
- Support the overall **logistics** of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and item labels.
- Proficiency in using scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and perform **Lifting**.
- Commitment to maintaining a **safe** work environment and using **PPE**.
- Understanding of **logistics** operations.
