We are actively recruiting for a Picker/Packer to join our Logistics team in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets and meticulously packing them for shipment. Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy are key to success in this position. Your efforts directly impact our customer's experience and the efficiency of our Logistics chain. A commitment to workplace Safety, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This role requires the ability to perform consistent Lifting and stand for extended periods. - Accurately picking products based on order lists.
- Verifying picked items against order details.
- Packing orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate packaging materials.
- Labeling packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work station.
- Assisting with inventory counts as needed.
- Following all Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Proper use of required PPE.
- Contributing to overall Logistics efficiency through accurate order processing.
- Performing tasks that involve frequent Lifting of products.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring regular Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented and able to follow instructions.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
- Familiarity with basic Logistics processes.
