We are looking for a skilled Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for the movement, storage, and organization of materials within the facility. Your efficient handling of materials is key to our Logistics operations and the overall productivity of the warehouse. You will operate material handling equipment, load and unload shipments, and ensure materials are stored correctly. A strong focus on Safety and adherence to all company policies, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is required. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting. - Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Moving materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Organizing and maintaining inventory in designated locations.
- Performing routine checks on equipment and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Following all Safety regulations and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assisting with picking, packing, and staging orders as needed.
- Contributing to efficient Logistics operations through accurate and timely material movement.
- Performing tasks that involve significant Lifting and manual dexterity.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Experience operating various types of material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring regular and heavy Lifting.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Understanding of basic Logistics principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
