We are looking for a skilled and certified Forklift Operator to join our vibrant warehouse team in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials, load and unload trucks, and assist in the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. Safety is paramount, and you must adhere to all operating regulations and procedures. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and possesses excellent maneuvering skills. You will play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring that goods are moved accurately and efficiently throughout the warehouse. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain focus on operational tasks. Attention to detail is key to preventing damage to products and equipment. We expect all team members to prioritize a safe working environment and correctly use their Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to transport materials.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production areas, or loading docks.
- Inspect equipment before and after use, reporting any defects or maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including picking, packing, and stocking.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all Logistics and operational guidelines.
- Ensure accurate placement of goods within the warehouse.
- Perform routine checks and light maintenance on forklifts.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics.
- Strong understanding of Safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy Lifting, up to 60 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Familiarity with using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
