We are looking for a dedicated Order Picker to join our team in Portland, Oregon. This role is essential for our **logistics** operations, ensuring that products are accurately retrieved to fulfill customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will navigate our warehouse efficiently, using scanning technology and pick lists to locate and retrieve items from storage. Accuracy and speed are key, as is the ability to handle products safely. You will be responsible for **Lifting** and moving items, often in bulk, and ensuring they are prepared for the next stage of the shipping process. A commitment to **safety** is paramount; all associates must rigorously follow **safety** procedures and wear the required **PPE** at all times. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using RF scanners and pick sheets.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product condition to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks responsibly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and **safe** work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company **safety** guidelines and **PPE** mandates.
- Perform **Lifting** and moving of products, which may exceed 40 lbs.
- Participate in inventory counts and other warehouse activities.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily fulfillment goals in our **logistics** hub.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior warehouse or order picking experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform **Lifting** of heavy items and stand for long periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse **safety** standards and **PPE**.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced **logistics** environment.
