Seeking a skilled Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage the daily operations of our distribution facility in Des Moines, Iowa. This pivotal role involves coordinating warehouse activities, managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods. - Coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, shipping, and inventory management.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to procedures.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and PPE requirements.
- Oversee the safe operation of all warehouse equipment.
- Coordinate with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth Logistics .
- Implement and maintain robust Safety protocols and procedures.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.
- May involve some physical tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations and supervision.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles and logistics best practices.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
