Join our growing team as a Material Handler at our state-of-the-art facility in Orlando, Florida. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the movement and organization of materials throughout the distribution center. Your primary duties will involve operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, sort, load, and unload products. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of inventory, contributing directly to our supply chain efficiency. Your contributions to maintaining inventory accuracy and workplace safety are highly valued. The role involves working collaboratively with other warehouse personnel to meet operational demands. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move materials to designated storage areas or production lines.
- Assist with inventory counts and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain equipment in good working order and report any issues.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE .
- Perform manual tasks related to material handling, including moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Support the overall Logistics operations of the facility.
- Promote a culture of Safety and awareness throughout the warehouse.
- Proven experience operating forklifts or similar equipment (certification preferred).
- Ability to perform physical labor.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
