Job Summary:
Join our fast-paced warehouse in San Diego, California, as an Order Picker! We are looking for motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently select products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our distribution process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to our clients. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through your precision and speed. You will work in a team-oriented environment where safety and efficiency are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order sheets or electronic scanners.
  • Verify product information and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
  • Package items securely and prepare them for shipment.
  • Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other equipment to move products within the warehouse.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety standards.
  • Meet or exceed established picking productivity goals.
  • Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged products to the supervisor.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to the overall logistics flow.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
  • Ability to read and understand order picking lists or instructions from scanners.
  • Comfortable with physical demands, including frequent lifting (up to 40 lbs), standing, walking, and bending.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
  • Familiarity with basic logistics principles is a plus.
