Our Sacramento, California warehouse is looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our logistics team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and store materials. The ideal candidate will have prior forklift experience, a valid certification, and a strong commitment to safety regulations. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Store and retrieve inventory from racking systems.
- Inspect forklift daily and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in inventory management and stock rotation.
- Understand and contribute to the overall efficiency of warehouse logistics.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting of items up to 50 lbs when not operating the forklift.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Maintain proper documentation for forklift operations and movements.
