We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator for our warehouse in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is critical for efficient inventory management and material movement within our logistics facility. You will operate a reach truck to accurately and safely move, stack, and retrieve products from high-rise racking systems. The ideal candidate possesses a valid reach truck certification, a strong safety record, and proven experience in a warehouse environment. Your precision and adherence to operational procedures will ensure the integrity of our inventory and the safety of our team. You will work in conjunction with other warehouse personnel to maintain optimal workflow and productivity. Our commitment to safety is paramount; all employees are expected to follow strict safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While reach truck operation is the primary focus, occasional manual handling and Lifting may be required. Responsibilities:
- Operate reach truck safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve palletized goods.
- Accurately place and remove inventory from racking systems.
- Perform pre-operation checks and routine maintenance on the reach truck.
- Follow all safety regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Ensure all movements are logged accurately.
- Uphold all safety standards, including the use of PPE.
