We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator for our Austin, Texas facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will be essential to the safe and efficient movement of goods within our warehouse, playing a key role in our logistics operations. Your primary responsibilities will include operating a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials, as well as stacking and retrieving inventory from various heights. Maintaining a safe work environment is paramount; therefore, adherence to all safety regulations and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are mandatory. This position requires a certified forklift operator with proven experience, excellent spatial awareness, and the capacity for physical work, including frequent Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and unstack materials.
- Load and unload pallets and other goods from trucks and trailers.
- Transport inventory to and from designated warehouse locations.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from obstructions.
- Collaborate with other warehouse personnel to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification and proven experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Thorough understanding of forklift safety protocols and warehouse logistics.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting and maneuvering of heavy items.
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workplace.
