Join our growing team as an Order Picker in San Francisco, California! In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your day-to-day tasks will involve navigating the warehouse, identifying products using pick lists or scanners, and ensuring items are packed securely. This position is crucial for maintaining our commitment to timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction within the logistics network. We emphasize a safe working environment, and all team members are required to follow strict safety guidelines and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. You'll need to be comfortable with manual labor, including significant amounts of Lifting, and possess good attention to detail to minimize errors. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick sheets or RF scanners.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Stage picked orders for shipment.
- Maintain productivity standards for picking and packing.
- Conduct quality checks on picked items to ensure accuracy.
- Keep work area clean and organized, following safety guidelines.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and use required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and put-away tasks.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to perform Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Good eye-hand coordination and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory control principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
