Join our dynamic warehouse team in San Diego, California, as a Picker/Packer! This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently processed. You will be responsible for picking items from our inventory and preparing them for shipment, playing a direct role in customer satisfaction. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, energetic, and committed to maintaining a high standard of work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and pick products based on order details provided via scanner or pick list.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package selected items carefully and securely, using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels accurately and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as directed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and wear required PPE, including safety glasses and gloves.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our warehouse logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience, particularly in picking and packing, is highly desirable.
- Ability to work with speed and accuracy in a time-sensitive environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the entire shift.
- Capable of lifting and moving items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic safety procedures relevant to logistics and warehouse environments.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and PPE requirements.
