Join our thriving logistics team in Denver, Colorado, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for dedicated individuals to ensure the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. In this role, you will be responsible for locating items in our warehouse using order pick lists or scanning technology, carefully packing them to ensure they arrive safely, and preparing them for shipment. Success in this position hinges on accuracy, speed, and a strong commitment to quality. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where attention to detail is crucial. The job involves significant physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout your shift. Team members must be comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs and utilizing proper lifting techniques. Comprehensive training will be provided on our warehouse management system and packing procedures. Safety is our highest priority; therefore, adherence to all safety regulations and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and collect items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Inspect items for defects or damage before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials to protect products during transit.
- Pack orders efficiently and neatly.
- Label packages correctly for shipping destinations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment as needed.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and accuracy goals.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in order picking, packing, or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Team player mentality.
