We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our key logistics hub in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data, ensuring that stock levels are precise and that all movements are properly recorded. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, performing physical inventory audits, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future issues. You will also collaborate with warehouse operations staff to ensure efficient receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping processes, optimizing our overall logistics flow. A strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse management systems (WMS) is essential. We are committed to a safe working environment and provide all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety training. While this role is less physically demanding than some warehouse positions, the ability to perform some lifting may occasionally be required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with attention to detail, are crucial.
