We are seeking experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operators to join our team in Detroit, Michigan! As a Forklift Operator, you will be instrumental in moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and organizing inventory within our warehouse. Your expertise ensures the efficient and safe operation of our logistics hub. Safety is our top priority, and all employees are required to follow established protocols rigorously and utilize all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role demands proficiency in operating various types of forklifts and the capability to handle substantial Lifting tasks. You will also be responsible for conducting routine equipment inspections and maintaining a clean work area. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Ensure accurate placement of goods within the warehouse.
- Perform pre-shift checks and basic maintenance on forklifts.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety rules and mandatory PPE usage.
- Support overall warehouse logistics and operational goals.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification.
- Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Demonstrated ability in performing heavy Lifting.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
