Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Store goods in appropriate warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization and stock rotation.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with accuracy and speed.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts to maintain data integrity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Process shipments and update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Report any operational issues, safety concerns, or inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and quality targets.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in operating various types of warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the correct use of PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with WMS and RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and efficiency in a logistics setting.
