Exciting opportunity in Des Moines, Iowa! We are seeking dedicated Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items to fulfill customer orders and meticulously packing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy directly impact our customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our distribution center. This position demands a high level of attention to detail, speed, and a strong commitment to Safety. We ensure a safe working environment and require all team members to use the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This is a great chance to be a key player in our fulfillment process and contribute to our logistics success. Responsibilities include:
- Accurately picking customer orders from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanners.
- Inspecting picked items for quality and correctness.
- Packing orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Labeling packages with correct shipping information.
- Preparing orders for shipment and staging them in the designated area.
- Maintaining productivity standards for picking and packing.
- Ensuring the accuracy of all orders processed.
- Adhering to all warehouse Safety policies and procedures.
- Performing tasks that involve significant Lifting and manual handling.
- Keeping the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assisting with inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Understanding and executing instructions for order fulfillment and logistics.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve daily targets.
