You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving and stocking merchandise, accurately picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse. A strong emphasis is placed on safety; all associates must wear appropriate PPE and follow all established safety procedures, including safe lifting techniques, to prevent accidents and injuries. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming goods.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Identify and report any product damage or safety hazards.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational targets.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient warehouse culture.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory management systems is a plus.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding role.
- Understanding of safety protocols, including the necessity of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
