We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator for our San Francisco, California facility. This is a critical role within our logistics operations, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. As a Forklift Operator, you will operate various types of forklifts to transport, stack, load, and unload goods, ensuring accuracy and preventing damage. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe forklift operation, excellent spatial awareness, and a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures. A valid forklift certification is required. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment. Adherence to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE, is non-negotiable. This role involves significant physical activity, including regular lifting of items up to 50 pounds, and the consistent application of safe lifting techniques. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and organize inventory accurately.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any defects.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and physical inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in warehouse safety training.
- Execute lifting and moving of products as required.
