We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Worker at our facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of goods. As a Warehouse Worker, you will perform a variety of tasks, including receiving inventory, stocking shelves, picking orders, and preparing items for shipment. We are seeking reliable individuals with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety. This fast-paced role requires physical stamina and attention to detail. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals in a dynamic warehouse setting. Understanding the importance of accurate inventory counts and timely order fulfillment is crucial. We maintain a rigorous safety program, and compliance with all safety standards, including the use of appropriate PPE, is mandatory. This position offers a great chance to develop your skills in the logistics field and become an integral part of our operations. Regular lifting of items up to 55 lbs is expected.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipping.
- Pack items using appropriate materials to ensure product safety.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory in designated locations.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including consistent lifting and carrying.
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
