We are looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and processing all incoming shipments. Your attention to detail and commitment to Safety are vital for maintaining inventory integrity and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics department. If you are organized, reliable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic warehouse environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You will play a key part in our supply chain, ensuring all goods are accounted for and properly handled from the moment they arrive.
Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks and containers.
- Inspect received goods for damage and verify against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
- Tag and stage incoming inventory for proper put-away.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to all Safety standards.
- Ensure the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all staff in the receiving area.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding shipments.
- Assist with warehouse organization and inventory control tasks.
- Support the overall logistics flow of the warehouse.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, inventory, or a related warehouse role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with inventory systems is a plus.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and practices.
- Willingness to wear all required PPE.
- Physical ability to handle manual tasks, including occasional Lifting.
