We are seeking a hardworking Material Handler to join our team in the vibrant city of Miami, Florida. This role is crucial for the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse, ensuring that materials are transported, stored, and organized effectively. You will be responsible for using various tools and equipment to handle products, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold a safe working environment. Responsibilities:
- Move, sort, and stage materials and products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment as required.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through careful handling and tracking.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist in receiving and shipping processes.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics chain.
- Perform tasks that require significant Lifting, pushing, and pulling of materials.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational demands.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting and standing.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to wear all required PPE.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and material handling principles.
