Border Patrol Job Summary:

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship violations.

This involves the identification of potential border violators at or near international borders through surveillance activities. These duties may include covert positions with infrared scopes for night operations.

• The primary tasks also involve tracking and interpreting tracks marks physical evidence related to illegal entry persons contraband performing checks on farms buildings traffic city patrols transportation patrolling coastal waterways government assets vehicles horses vessels watercraft off-road vehicles ATVs snowmobiles motorcycles accomplishing United States Border Patrol (USBP) Mission along with various law enforcement duties performed daily
