The role of a Border Protection Specialist is to safeguard the nation's borders by detecting and apprehending individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs regulations.

• Conduct surveillance operations utilizing infrared scopes during nighttime activities, analyzing tracks, marks, and other physical evidence to identify potential threats.
• Interrogate suspects and inspect vehicles, cargo containers, or individual travelers at designated checkpoints to prevent contraband smuggling.
