< li > Interpreting/physical evidence illegal entry persons/contraband performing farm/building traffic city patrols transportation checks patrolling international boundary/coastal waterways government assets vehicles/horses vessels/watercraft off-road ATVs snowmobiles motorcycles USBP mission qualifications GL-9 one ( 1 ) year specialized experience detaining/searches detained indiviuals vehicles surroundings weapons contraband currency evidence apprehending physically restraining identifying/arrest violators state federal immigration law proficient firearms investigative reports serving court orders gathering criminal cases GS-11 authority enforce laws make arrests investigate crimes primary duties official enforcement capacity utilizing intelligence track illegal operations threats nation contraband leading investigations fraud contraband activity threats operation analyze rapid prompt decisions develop maintain contact network informants.
