Border Protection Officer Role

The US Customs and Border Protection is looking for a dedicated individual to fill the role of Border Patrol Agent - Experienced (GL9 / GS11). This position requires a high level of physical fitness, excellent communication skills, and strong analytical abilities.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws by inspecting documents, possessions, and monitoring surveillance footage.


• Preventing alien smuggling through covert operations including night-time surveillance with infrared scopes.


• Analyzing tracks, marks, and evidence to identify illegal entry points or contraband routes.


• Maintaining law enforcement standards through regular farm checks, building inspections, traffic patrols in cities and rural areas as well as transportation safety checks.
