Safeguarding our nation's borders is a critical mission that requires dedication, expertise and passion. As a Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO) , you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of American communities by enforcing customs, immigration and agriculture laws.
The CBPO role involves:
- Enforcing customs regulations to prevent illicit activity
- Facilitating legitimate trade while deterring illegal trade practices
- Conducting inspections to determine admissibility of individuals into the US
About This Role
This position requires strong analytical skills with ability to evaluate information quickly. You must be detail-oriented, communicate effectively with various stakeholders and make sound judgment decisions under pressure.
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of customs regulations along with experience working in high-pressure situations./
