What you'll do:
- Review AI-generated code , TypeScript, PHP) and approve/reject with clear reasoning
- Validate AI-generated specs before implementation starts
- Implement escalated tasks the AI flags as too complex or risky (2-8hr focused chunks)
- Help with backend architecture decisions — API design, DB schema, service structure
- Work async — clear briefs, PR reviews, minimal meetings
Stack:
- / TypeScript (primary)
- PostgreSQL, Sequelize
- AWS (Lambda, SNS/SQS, S3)
- Fastify or Express
- Docker
- PHP/Symfony is a plus (active client project uses it)
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years full-stack experience
- You already use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot) in your daily workflow
- Strong code review skills — you can read someone else's code (or an AI's code) and spot the problems
- Clean async communication — you write well and respond reliably
- Self-directed — you don't need a PM hovering
How this works:
- Freelance, time & materials — log hours, invoice bi-weekly

- Starts with a paid trial task (2-4 hours) on a real repo
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
